2013 Berry Health Benefits Symposium (June 18-20, 2013)
The 5th Annual Berry Health Benefits Symposium, the only international conference that focuses solely on berries and human health, will be held June 18-20, 2013, at the Embassy Suites in Concord, N.C.
Leading researchers from around the globe will present scientific presentations with cutting edge information on how berries positively impact human health. Dr. Mary Ann Lila, Plants for Human Health Institute director, will be the keynote speaker during the symposium dinner on Wednesday, June 19.

HIGHLIGHTS
– A full-day event on June 18 for those in the berry industry, corporate industry, media and others who would like to learn more about understanding and using berry health research in their businesses and increase their understanding of terms used in berry research.
– A keynote dinner on June 19, with Lila as the featured speaker.
– A tour including the North Carolina Research Campus laboratories, a healthy cooking demonstration and more will be offered on June 20, followed by dinner at an Appalachian-style lodge.
– A poster session with the most outstanding poster presented by a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow receiving a $300 award. There will be additional cash awards for judged posters.
