Bio
The focus of Raham Mhawish’s current research is how different types of small phenolic acids impact gut health, obesity-induced insulin resistance and type two diabetes mellitus (T2D). Mhawish seeks to understand the signaling pathways and transcriptional mechanisms related to chronic inflammation and diabetes risk.
