Qirui Cui is interested in plant epigenetics and endosperm development. He works with a plant demethylase DME, which controls the epigenetic status of the plant, especially in the endosperm. He studies different phenotypes caused by DME plants, infer DME’s role in development, and investigate DME’s molecular targeting functions.
