John Ivarsson Jr.
Bio
Under the direction of Dr. Giuseppe Valacchi, Ivarsson evaluates the protective effect of plant polyphenolic compounds on skin exposed to environmental pollutants such as ultra-violent light, ozone, and particulate matter. I seek to understand the protective mechanisms behind nutritional supplementation and/or topical application of phytochemicals.
