Bio
Dr. Lisard Iglesias Carres works in the lab of Dr. Andrew Neilson. His current research involves the study of the bioavailability and metabolism of phenolic compounds in different models, as well as their bioactive effects. Previous research efforts were focused on the factors that modulate fruit phenolic compounds’ bioavailability and metabolism, as well as the study of phenolic compounds in different fruit matrixes.
