Bio
Dr. Jia Xiong is a research scholar in the lab of Dr. Tzung-Fu Hsieh. She participates in gene function and mechanism research, performing genotyping and phenotyping. Specifically, Dr. Xiong studies how endosperm metabolomes and nutrient profiles are influenced by epigenetic regulation. She also uses LC-MS and LC-QTOF instruments to analyze metabolites from different genetic mutants of Arabidopsis, a model species, involved in the regulation of gene imprinting, endosperm, and seed development, and nutrient accumulations.
