Dr. Aimutis is a 30-year veteran of the agricultural and food industry. His past experiences include leadership roles in research and development, operations, intellectual asset management, and open innovation. He has worked at Chr. Hansen’s Laboratory, New Zealand Dairy Board, Kerry Ingredients, Land O’Lakes, and most recently Cargill, Inc. At the North Carolina Food Innovation Lab, Aimutis will assist in designing, building, and eventually leading efforts to utilize the facility and bring new businesses into North Carolina.
