Ms. Lorie Solomon-Beale works with Dr. Allan Brown. She is responsible for successive generations of broccoli and cabbage plants maintained for pollination experiments. She assists in the field harvest of broccoli and blueberry samples. In the lab, Lorie helps maintain inventory of supplies and makes stock solutions and prepares reagents used for plant natural product extractions. She extracts and isolates broccoli phytocompounds in preparation for analytical analysis.
