Providing expertise in farm business management, communications and marketing, and fresh produce safety, these Cooperative Extension staff serve as an outreach component to complement the research conducted at PHHI.

Growers Information Portals

Growers Information Portals

Growers Information Portals are designed to optimize growers’ and Extension agents’ efforts by creating a one-stop shop for resources pertaining to a specific agricultural commodity. These portals were originally conceived and developed by N.C. Cooperative Extension faculty with N.C. State’s Plants for Human Health Institute with funding from the N.C. Tobacco Trust Fund Commission and the Agricultural Advancement Consortium of the N.C. Rural Economic Development Center.

*NOTICE: AS OF 2013, THE GROWERS INFORMATION PORTALS ARE NOW HOSTED BY N.C. COOPERATIVE EXTENSION IT (EIT). VISITORS CAN SEARCH AND ACCESS A VARIETY OF CROP PORTALS ON THE N.C. COOPERATIVE EXTENSION WEBSITE OR LINK DIRECTLY TO A SELECTION OF PORTALS BELOW.
