The North Carolina State University N.C. MarketReady program is part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and N.C. Cooperative Extension. Our multidisciplinary team builds partnerships and educational resources to help North Carolina agriculture be more profitable.
We develop and deliver educational programs and information resources that help farmers be successful.
Our programs are designed to enhance and integrate farmers’ skills and knowledge in five key focus areas:
- Agriculture Enterprise Development
- Business Skills Education
- Fresh Produce Safety
- Horticulture Skills Education
- Strengthening Markets
Located on the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, our Program works closely with the N.C. State University Plants for Human Health Institute, bridging life science research to real-world agricultural applications. We are part of the Extension and Engagement efforts.
