N.C. Strawberry Festival 2010

StrawberriesNorth Carolina is home to one of the biggest and best strawberry festivals around: The N.C. Strawberry Festival. This year marks the 85th edition of the event, which regularly draws more than 10,000 people to Chadbourn (population: 2,000). Bring the family and watch the parade; enjoy the amusement rides, live music and a wide variety of vendors; experience the community and local culture; and – best of all – sample the juicy, sweet strawberries for which Chadbourn and North Carolina are famous.
